First off, I must apologize for the terrible quality of my photos.
One of my colleagues did these really neat firework photos last week and I just had to share.
The kids drew a skyline on black construction paper with chalk.
Then they cut it out and turned it over.
Next they glued it to blue construction paper.
Some of the kids drew in windows with yellow crayon.
Check out some more photos.
And how about those effective fireworks?
Well the most important tool is bendy straws,
Take 7 or 8 bendy straws and tape them together like in the photos below.
I did a few, and cut some shorter than others, for different sized fireworks.
You put the gold paint in a small plate, dip the straws in, and then stand them up on the picture.
Get the kids to go around the straws and tap down the ends one at a time.
After the paint is applied, sprinkle some glitter on top and let them dry.
